Grades Online
Parents, follow your child's progress in school with access to assignments, grades, and much more, all online using Union’s parent portal Infinite Campus.
----- Access Grades OnLine – Click Here -----
Parents and students may access assignments, grades, attendance record and other information online through Union’s Campus Portal. This portal is part of our student information system, Infinite Campus. The portal may be accessed through a computer or a mobile device.
If you have not yet set up a Campus Portal account, or having difficulty, please email Campus Support.
View Parent Portal Access Instructions
Students in seventh grade through 12th grade participating in any extracurricular sanctioned school activities sponsored by OSSAA will receive eligibility notices by the Campus Parent/Student Portal. These include Leadership, Fine Arts and Athletic courses both during and after school.
Safeguards are in place so that only those with authorization may have access to the password-protected Campus Portal. Parents may gain access by emailing Union Campus Support, where they will receive specific instructions and an activation link. If parents have more than one student attending Union, they only need one activation link to see the information for all of them. Students will receive their user name and password at school.
“The Campus Portal is a powerful tool for parents, students, and teachers as we work together to achieve and maintain student academic success,” explained Union Superintendent Dr. Kirt Hartzler. “Users will find even more information than we were able to offer in our original online service,” he said.
Canvas
Students access Student Canvas for assignments. See also https://www.unionps.org/canvas
Canvas is a Learning Management System or LMS. An LMS serves as a platform for teacher and students to work together online. Teachers can post assignments, create discussion boards, upload content like PowerPoints and instructional videos. For students Canvas creates a one stop shop for all their courses; organizing their assignments, giving them a single calendar for due dates, being able to review content posted by teachers, and even submit assignments online. Union offers Canvas to all teachers and students and its use is expanding quickly. Infinite Campus (Union’s Student Information System or SIS) is still the official place for Grades and Attendance at Union.
Parents can create observer accounts with their student, so they can view everything the student can see and be able to monitor their child’s work on Canvas. View instructions for creating a Canvas Observer Account. Canvas is only available in grades six through 12.
Meet the Teacher
Union’s annual Meet The Teacher event will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, August 14. This is an opportunity for parents to take their children to their elementary school site, meet their teacher and learn about various programs offered at their school.
Note: Some Meet The Teacher events will coincide with Back-to-School Nights.
