Union boasts one of the best athletics departments in the nation. Union athletes excel on all levels, locally, statewide and nationally. In addition to competitive sports, Union also offers intramural games. The spirit department - which includes cheerleaders, pom squads and Highstepper teams - is also under the auspices of the athletics department.

Mission

The mission of the Union Athletic Department is to help our student-athletes reach their highest academic and athletic potential; to inspire champions today and prepare leaders for tomorrow.

Union Adopts Clear Bag Policy For Athletics Events

To ensure the safest environment for students and patrons, Union Public Schools has a new clear bag policy for entry into all athletic events.

  • Clear bag policy will be enforced.  Please see “approved bags”
  • All school-age spectators must be affiliated with the participating schools unless accompanied by an adult.
  • 8th grade students and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
