Special Projects coordinates with all Support Services Departments, working closely with Construction Services and Operations on projects big and small in order to provide and maintain high quality facilities.
The furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) on construction projects is normally done through Special Projects. In addition Special Projects will communicate with the many construction project stakeholders to gather information and research that will be helpful in the planning and completion of projects.
The Executive Director meets a minimum of twice a year with each site principal to gather information on the work done by the Support Services Departments. Any information learned is then shared with the Assistant Superintendent for Support Services and the Support Services Department Directors.
