Each spring, Union conducts an early enrollment program for 3-year-old, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students.
- Children who are four years old on or before September 1 are eligible to be enrolled in the Pre-Kindergarten program at their home school for the coming year. The students must reside with a parent or legal guardian in the Union District. Pre-K is first come first serve on a space-available basis. Pre-K enrollment has to be completed, time stamped and approved by a district registrar in the Enrollment Center.
- Children who are five years old on or before September 1 are eligible for Kindergarten for the coming year. If you already have a student currently attending Pre-K in the Union District, the student will promote to Kindergarten at their home school based on your home address if they complete the school year.
- Union offers a free developmentally appropriate education program for children who turn three by September 1.
Pre-kindergarten and kindergarten are full-day programs. Hours are posted on school web pages. Extended day or before/after care is also provided for pre-kindergarten students. Transportation is not provided.
The student must be a resident of Union Public Schools and living with a parent or legal guardian to enroll. For enrollment requirements, see Enrollment.

Note concerning immunizations
Kindergarten shots may be given any time after your child turns four years old. Tulsa City-County Health Department offers these immunizations and often hosts several clinics. Call (918) 582-9355 for information. According to Oklahoma School Law, any child not immunized and without proper certificate or statement may be denied admittance to school.
