Free & Reduced Meal Applications

USDA has announced that the waivers which allowed us to serve all students free of charge will expire on August 16, 2022.  After that date, students will pay full price for meals unless they are approved for 2022-23 free or reduced price meals by household meal application or SNAP benefits.  If your student was approved last year, you still need to fill one out this year. Filling out the Free & Reduced Application is quick and easy.  For an online application go to: http://unionps.schoollunchapp.com If you prefer a paper application, you may pick one up at the Education Service Center or call 918-357-6223 and we can mail one to your residence. PERSONAL AND DISTRICT BENEFITS AND DISCOUNTS  Union Public Schools depends on the percentage of free/reduced price qualifying students to provide us with funding not only for meals but also for multiple other programs including:  undefined	The e-Rate program, which provides funds for many of our technology initiatives based on free/reduced student percentage.  undefined	Federal Title programs, like Title I for extra support for low income families, Title III for our English learners, and Title IX for our homeless students, all receive additional funding based on our percentage of students who qualify for free and reduced price meals.  undefined	Discounted academic test fees, such as SAT/PSAT/ACT undefined	Discounts on college applications and scholarships undefined	Discounts on home internet services undefined	Discounts on fees for youth programs and athletics It is important that you complete an application prior to September 30, 2022, so the appropriate allocations will be distributed this year for our students. Inflation is impacting everyone! Please take advantage of saving your family money by applying for free/reduced cost meals, and in turn helping Union provide the wonderful services your students need.   We appreciate your continued support.

LOS BENEFICIOS Y DESCUENTOS PERSONALES Y DEL DISTRITO

Las Escuelas Públicas de Union dependen del porcentaje de estudiantes que califican como gratuitos/de precio reducido para proveernos de fondos no sólo para las comidas sino también para otros múltiples programas incluyendo:
