Rudolph’s Ramen Roundup Dec. 8-16

Feeding U, a student organization at the Union High School, is partnering with Darnaby Elementary School Student Council for Rudolph’s Ramen Roundup. They will be collecting ramen noodles for Union’s food pantry.

The drive begins on December 8 and runs to December 16.

Student organizer Madi Bacon said, "Mrs. Karen Mahoney is the Darnaby Student Council sponsor and my primary contact. I know she’s doing an amazing job of promoting this event. I made her a short video explaining my club and it’s mission for their school morning broadcast. In their last student council meeting, the reps came up with a cute script to read their class to get them pumped up to donate ramen."

Bacon said she hopes to have an even more successful food drive than Feeding U's recent peanut butter drive.

Darnaby families will certainly help support the drive, but Bacon said anyone can donate. "The food will go to any Union student in need. There will be a large collection box set up in the entryway at Darnaby during those dates."
