Employee Kick-Off Planned Tuesday, Aug. 16

Dear Union Staff: 

As we are all working fast and furiously in preparation for the 2022-23 school year, I wanted to give you a quick update on Kick-Off.

We will proceed with an in-person Kick-Off event on Tuesday, August 16, at 9 a.m. in the Performing Arts Center at Union High School. Donuts and coffee will be served starting at 8:00 a.m. For those who don’t feel comfortable getting together as a large group, you will have the opportunity to watch the event livestreamed from your school building or in the Board Room of the Education Service Center. (Please check with your principal for the location of the streamed event in your building).

We look forward to recapturing the spirit of our traditional Kick-Off celebration and can’t wait for our new employees to fully experience Kick-Off the way that it’s meant to be!

Please join us either in-person or virtually as we eagerly embrace the upcoming school year with the theme “BRING ON TOMORROW.” I promise you will have a good time as we look to an amazing year ahead.

Kick-off will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday, August 16 at the Union Performing Arts Center. Doors (and donuts!) will be open at 8 a.m. The Education Service Center and the Enrollment Center will be closed during this time and open for business at 1 p.m.
