About 500 dresses and suits have been donated for the upcoming Prom Dress/Suits Boutique planned for next month by the Union PTA Council.
PTA organizer Jean Jones is collecting all the donated garments so they can be dry-cleaned before the boutique. Jones is pictured here with the white dress, along with Superintendent Dr. Kirt Hartzler, and executive administrative assistants Jamie Ward and Karen Howard at the Education Service Center.
The boutique will take place March 11, March 13 and March 22- 24 in the Redzone Room at the UMAC. Students will be able to select and take home garments at no charge for the prom.
Because of the pandemic, changes have been made to the prom in an effort to promote safety of the students. This year, prom will be for seniors and their dates only at the Expo Center from 8 p.m. until midnight on Saturday, April 24.
