Union High School teacher Jason Crow wanted to show his our AP Computer Science Principles students and their ability to create awesome programs even while they’re distance learning.
Crow teaches cybersecurity, computer Science, digital citizenship and personal finance at the Union Stem Lab.
“To set up this last assignment a little, we’re in our first phase of creating a project that students could use for our AP exam submissions,” Crow stated. “This is the first time these students have had to take everything they’ve learned in Python and turn it into some kind of artistic expression all their own. So, while the output of some of these programs may seem simple, there is a lot of work that goes into them. A whole week for this first part, in fact. So I just wanted to make sure others are aware of their hard work and the progress they’re making. I’m incredibly proud of what they’re accomplishing and I can’t wait to see what their final output will be.”
