Union High School Repertory Theatre to present a double-feature show at Admiral Twin Drive-In Tuesday, Oct. 6

"As we prepare for our first show of the year, I’m so excited to record ‘War of the Worlds’ and ‘Monsters are Due on Maple Street’ to bring it to the Admiral Twin Drive in so that our audience can socially distance in their cars and still see their children perform,” said Troy Powell, drama instructor at the High School.

Union’s “War of the Worlds” will be a retelling of the famous 1938 radio drama that created some real-life panic when members of the public thought the alien invasion was real. “The Monster are Due on Maple Street” is a retelling of a famous 1960 “Twilight Zone” episode in which neighbors react to a mysterious power outage some believe to be caused by a meteor or maybe even aliens.
