Distance Learning Assignments

The Oklahoma State Department of Education has made the decision that Oklahoma students will not return to the classroom for the remainder of the current school year, as our state continues to fight the spread of COVID-19. While all Union school buildings will remain closed, school continues as we create meaningful educational experiences that engage students, enriching and extending their academic abilities.

Our intent is to provide a positive academic experience for students without overwhelming parents, and to engage all populations of students, even those who may not have access to the latest technology at home.

At-Home Assignments will be posted on this page by Friday evening of each week through May 8.

  • Week of May 4 – 8:  This will be the last week of Distance Learning, so there will be no new assignments or lessons after May 8.
  • The Rosa Parks Early Childhood Center will continue to post distance learning assignments through June. See new assignments on the Rosa Parks ECEC page.
  • Week of May 11 – 15:  This week will be used by teachers to wrap up any unresolved student issues, determine class placement for next year, etc.
  • The last day of school will be May 15, as approved by the Board of Education.
