Parents tell us Union’s automated phone messaging system is a great way to announce weather-related school closings, upcoming events, and important information.
For your convenience, we have also added a district phone message replay line where you can access recent messages sent to you by the district and/or the school your student(s) attend(s). The Union Connect-ED Message Line is 918-357-6210. The system searches the database by the phone number of the telephone you use to call the message line and gives you the choice of the last nine messages sent to that phone.
To ensure you receive these important messages, please make sure you notify us when your phone number or email address changes. You can quickly update your phone number through the Campus Parent Portal under Household Information. Email and preferred language preferences can be adjusted through the Campus Parent Portal under Contact Preferences. It is very important we have the most current and accurate contact information for the safety of your child. If you need assistance with updating contact information , you can call Bibi Davila at the Enrollment Center at 918-357-6150 or 918-357-6154.
The message line is also the number to use if you do not have students in the district and we are calling you by mistake. Simply leave your number and a request that it be removed from our list.
Union offers text messaging services to patrons and staff who have opted in to received messages through the district’s Connect-ED system.
The first time Union sends you a text message, the following pops up on your screen:
"UNIONPUBLIC: You are now subscribed to receive text alerts. Reply HELP for help, STOP UPS to cancel. Msg&data rates may apply."
Note: If a person tries to subscribe who is not part of the contact database, he or she will receive the message: "BbConnect Info Alerts: You have not followed the Opt In/Out process correctly."
In order to opt in and receive messages, please contact the Union Communications Department at 918-357-6015 or email Barbara Swinburne, our Communications administrative assistant, and ask to be included.
