The Federal Programs Department, which is under the umbrella of the Finance Division, works closely with Teaching and Learning in the implementation of programs funded by state/federal monies, and tracking and recording statistical data - see also Student Data and Assessment. The data helps determine funding Union might receive for the district as well as track progress in various areas from demographics to enrollment trends.
While the department's work is largely "behind the scenes," it is also one of the most important in the District.
Federal Programs manages grants for the district and oversees support for students grades and transcripts. The Federal Programs department also oversees the Enrollment Office, which is located in the Education Service Center, 8506 E. 61st, Tulsa, OK, 74133-1926, as well as the Adult/Community Education Department.
Federal Programs monitors and assists in the completion of all local, state and federals grants in the filing of claims, end of the year reports and expenditures. All compliance reimbursement of college tuition is approved through this office.
Federal Programs provides support for all personnel concerning electronic record for grade books, course assignments and transcripts. Student membership and attendance support is also provided in this department. Crystal Report requests are processed for approval and creation.
Annual Statistical Report/Statistics
All reports required by the State of Oklahoma are completed in this office for state reimbursement. The collection of data for all departments are collected and distributed through this office.
