Teachers are an open book at Andersen….literally! Books came alive for students today as teachers dressed as their favorite character and read a book to students. Silly Sally, Fancy Nancy, Sloppy Joe and many other characters were seen at Andersen. It was a good day to be at Andersen!
It’s Grandparent’s Day at Andersen! Students were encouraged to invite grandparents or other family members to join them for lunch and there was a full house.
Books will be alive at Andersen Tuesday, November 20! Teachers will dress as a book character and read in classrooms throughout the day. For example, art teacher Tyler Randall will read “Where the Wild Things Are” and will dress as the monster.
THANKSGIVING weekend won't require as much traveling this year as it did in 2011 for those involved with the Union, Jenks and Owasso football teams in semifinal games.... more
