After school, Science Club aka Darnaby Discoveries led by Jana Kennedy and Aaron Parsons created containers for raw eggs that would “survive impact” when dropped from a great heights. Mr. Parsons took the contraptions to the top of the building and launched them onto the blacktop while Mrs. Kennedy and her students anxiously awaited the results after each egg landed in its created container. The contraptions protected the eggs. Some had parachutes, one was a saucer that was tossed like Frisbee. Students cheered as they opened the protection for their eggs and discovered they were still intact. That was probably a good thing because students have been working on these devices for a week.
