Union Bands presents the 8th-Annual Union Percussion Spring Showcase Concert, on Friday, April 25, 7 p.m. at the Union High School Performing Arts Center. Part of YouthArts! 2014, this unique concert displays the talents of Union’s 6th-12th grade percussion students, features an encore performance of the Rufus Posse (a ‘Stomp’-style production designed by the 9th-12th graders), and concludes with 80+ students performing in the finale production. Union’s All Sports Physical night for all students grades 7-12 will be held from 6 to 8:45 p.m. at the UMAC on Monday, May 5. Pre-participation physicals are required for all student-athletes who plan on participating in Union-sponsored sports. The cost of this physical will be $20, and each student receiving a physical will be given a voucher for a baseline ImPACT test. ... continue reading »

OCCJ Camp Anytown Oklahoma. This human relations and leadership/diversity training program is held in Vian, OK at the Dwight Mission Camp from June 15 to June 21st. Participants (rising 9th, 10th, and 11th graders) will be eligible for a higher education scholarship awarded to one graduating male and female each year who have attended the program.
