The Andersen First Grade did a unit on 'The Gingerbread Man' and after reading many different versions of the tale, each student decorated a mini gingerbread boy/girl and mailed it to a friend or family member somewhere in the U.S., along with a letter asking for a picture or postcard from their state/area. ... more
